Computer science club

Want to develop interdisciplinary creative problem-solving skills? Create your own discord bot? Compete in CS tournaments? Run your own competitions? The HSN Computer Science club teaches students of ALL skill levels (no experience necessary!) topics outside of the scope of the classes offered at North through the use of interactive lectures and projects. We offer our club members a supportive learning environment to further their understanding of varied areas such as programming, app development, cryptography, and theoretical computer science. We also prepare members for national high school CS competitions, such as the USA Computing Olympiad and Capture The Flag cybersecurity competitions. Most significantly, club members work throughout the year to host an international CTF themselves at the end of the school year.

We strongly encourage anyone even slightly interested to join, especially women and underclassmen. We can't wait to see you all! Stay safe and hugs to all :)
